Game modes
Stroke Play
In a Stroke Play game up to 4 players can play a round of between 3-18 holes. The player with the fewest shots wins the match. For example if player A finishes the match with 72 shots and player B finishes with 81 shots, player A wins because he took the fewest shots to finish the course.
Team mode
Two teams of two players compete for each hole. The team to win the most holes is the winner. For example, if the Blue team finishes the first hole in 3 shots, but the Red team finishes it in 4, the Blue team wins.
Tournament mode
The Tournament Mode pits you, either on your own or as part of a team, against other players online. A group of up to 30 people can play 18 holes where the winner is the player or team to finish with the fewest shots. The players' scores, as well as their current standings are updated in real time during the match.
Team Tournament mode
In Team Tournament Mode teams of up to 15 players face off in a battle to see who can finish highest on the leader board. The lower your score is, the better it is for your team, so make sure you don't let your teammates down. The scores of all players, including their current standings, are updated in real time during the match.
Family mode
In this mode, you use a single account and one computer to play Pangya with up to four people, each taking turns. This means that families and friends can play together on the same computer with just one account. The Family Mode is ideal for introducing your friends and family to Pangya. However, you should know that any Pang points or Experience you score will not be added to your account.
Approach mode
In this mode, you play a single hole against other players. The goal of this competition : send your ball as close to the hole as possible. Whoever has the best approach wins. It's a real challenge where all your Pangya skills will be needed! There is a 100 Pang entry fee for this mode.
Pang Battle mode
Feel like spicing up the challenge? In this mode, winners gain a pre-determined amount of Pangs, which is taken away from the losers at each hole.
Tutorial mode
This mode allows you to learn all about the game as well as practice all the special shots and how to deal with tricky situations. As useful as it can be, you cannot win Pang points or Experience in tutorial mode.
